While this tape will be his introduction to many, he’s already well on his way with some big co-signs. The Billionaire Boys Club-presented tape has features from Wyclef, Pharrell, Melanie Fiona, and more. -Complex

Last Wednesday before his show at 330 Ritch with Blu, I got to chat with one of my favorite producers, Exile. We spoke about the craziest thing he ever sampled, his second album with Fashawn “The Ecology“, a new project as Emanon with Aloe Blacc and a Dag Savage project (including a free mixtape beforehand). We also spoke about working early with Miguel, his phone call with Jay Electronica, and his fascination with the radio.

Pharrell has been on roll these past few weeks. After posting pictures with Kendrick Lamar, Mayer Hawthorne, and announcing a joint album with Lupe Fiasco. Jan 30th P posted a picture described as “Studio Time” with the good doctor and The Doggfather.
Uncertain where the collaboration will end up (hopefully not Detox) but should no doubt be the shit.
